What to wear to Class:

Something very comfortable to move in.  Many students enjoy wearing broomstick skirts and t-shirts to help them feel more at home.  However, leggings and crop or exercise tops are just as acceptable.  It often helps to have a hip scarf to tie around your hips to better able you to see body movement.  A simple shawl or scarf will work great. You will also need a veil, (not mandatory on the first visit).  A veil should be about 3 yards of soft flowing fabric, silk is the best but expensive.  Chiffon, poly-chiffon, and poly-sheers, are a more affordable solution. 

Jo Ann's and Hancock's both have excellent fabric selection.  After your first visit and you have seen what the other students have you will have a much better idea of the fabric you would like to choose.  Sew up the cut edge (either by hand or machine) and you are good to go.
